Lawyer from Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela, 2004), Specialist in Intellectual Property from the same University (2009), LL.M. in International Law from Universidad de Chile and Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg (2009), Diploma in Intellectual Property and New Technologies from Universidad de Chile (2010), and LL.M. in European and Transnational Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (2022). Currently, she is a student of the Doctorate in Law at Universidad del Desarrollo.
Between 2004 and 2007, she was a teaching fellow at the Faculty of Arts, Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela), teaching Intellectual Property. During 2007 and 2008 she joined the law firm Maionica, Rossini, Jelambi & Ribeiro (Venezuela) as head of the Intellectual Property department, and between 2010 and 2020, she worked as senior associate at Alessandri (Chile), in charge of the patent department. In 2020 she assumed the presidency of LES Chile (Chilean chapter of Licensing Executives Society International). In addition to her ongoing doctoral studies, Francesca practices as an independent consultant in intellectual property, information technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and is a lecturer in the Valuation and Management of Intellectual Property Assets Program for Creative Industries of CORFO and the University of Concepción (Chile).
