He began his career as legal advisor at CESPI (Centro de Estudios y Servicios Legales en Propiedad Intelectual) of the SCD (Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de Autor) in 2002 and 2003. Subsequently (2003-2004) he joined the legal services of the SGAE (Sociedad General de Autores de España) in Madrid, Spain, as legal advisor. In 2005, he joined the Alessandri and Company law firm, serving as a senior associate attorney until 2017. Between 2013 and 2015 he was an advisor in the CAIA (Council of Art and Audiovisual Industry) of the Council of Culture representing Audiovisual Producers.
He is currently a Professor at the Universidad Católica, Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Universidad de Concepción, CORFO (IP for Creative Industries) and the Postgraduate in Management and Preservation of Audiovisual and Sound Documents, Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
